I and my husband have been working from Chamba, Himachal now for a month. It's a beautiful homestay nestled in the middle of orchards with mountain peaks visible from a distance, a Variety of birds visiting every day. 3 dogs and a cat always ready to play with you.

Internet is fast so you won't face issue with any sort of connectivity issues.

The place is a 1 km hike up and provides one an opportunity to be close to nature.

They also have a library for ones you would just like to laze and read.

WHAT MORE CAN YOU DO HERE?

Organic farming
Join Mr Dhami for a morning meditation session
Short country walk to a nearby village or School
Try your hand milking cows. Or have fun feeding the goats. Why not gather free-range eggs for breakfast!
Conversation on herbal plants and flora -- fauna.
If relaxing is what you want we have the perfect hammock to lay on and read that book you had no time for, or lay in the sun and soak in the vitamin D, the choice is yours.

Wonderful place! The host was very accommodative! The view was exceptional! And the food was great!! The Himachali Madra (traditional dish) is a must try!
You also get to meet Pointy and Tipsy the two adorable furries! The whole experience of getting up there is just amazing amidst the kiwi, pear, apple orchards! ☺️
It’s a must visit for all those who love secluded places and are in for a magical experience! ☺️

Six of us visited Himalyan Orchard Huts on an impromptu trip of two days. It was a pleasant surprise as the place turned out to be really exceptional inspite of its somewhat remote location. The rustic place has a wonderful location and good view of the valley below. The food is exceptionally good and you get a taste of authentic Himachali food. Would definately visit again.

The nine rooms are basic and comfortable and the hosts are very knowledgable, helpful, experienced and genuinely committed to responsible, sustainable tourism. A truly authentic
experience in the lap of the Himalayas.

We visited Orchard Hut for a decompression after 2 weeks in Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Pushkar. It was exactly that! The Dahmi family were so welcoming and kind. The ambiance was laid back and very chill. Our meals were delicious and our hosts would explain in detail all the homegrown organic ingredients and how they were prepared. If you are looking for a casual, rustic and authentic experience I highly recommend the Himalayan Orchard Hut!
