We were there on New Year Eve to have a coffee or drink at the restaurant around 10:45pm. But sadly the restaurant closed at 10:30pm. No request accepted even though few people were there in Restaurant. We sit on the terrace and viewed the valley and the hills on full moon night. Appears to be good place to enjoy food in open in the evening. Will try next time.

My family enjoyed this property. The rooms are though average and give a glimpse of old heritage, but the staff is professional and courteous. The food is decent but the service is quick. The ambience of the place is good enough to mesmerise anyone

It has beautiful rooms with nice views.
Its costly but worth for a day’s stay. You get to ride cable car as well. Resort has in-house activities. If there is a group you can enjoy the time there.
There are three properties on hill top. Moksha is the costliest but has facilities like swimming pool

Timber Trail entrance is right on the Chandigarh to Shimla highway. On entering, one is greeted by a cozy & tidy building, beyond which lies beautiful views of the mountains (on the left) and the valley (on the right). One can relax on the sun deck sipping your favourite tea or coffee or drink and watch the world go by !! Well maintained place !!
