“Small Resort in a Paradise Bay”
Reviewed 7 September 2011

I spent there 5 days and I had a very good time. The resort is small but confortable and sit in a wonderful bay with an amazing crystal water. Thai people are slowly but kind and the food it was great.
Very good value for the money I paid. I reccomend for the people like to stay faraway from a crowd place.

Neverland resort lies all by itself at a beautiful little bay.

The small bongalows are nice, clean and simple with good air con. There is a small restaurant where the food is ok, but nothing more. The staff is friendly but somewhat slow. There is a large and very beautiful garden and a small river you can sail down, as long as the canoe is not broke.

In the small bay there are coral reefs with many fish on both sides so you can walk / swim quickly out to the reefs. There are no rocks in the clear, clear water. The first 200 meters, the water is very low. Sea level changes daily, so the sand dont dry and gets soft, and there is little waste from the ocean on the long but narrow beach. The view from the beach is very beautiful.

Besides swimming and snorkeling there is not much to do at Neverland, and our kids got bored quickly. But you can rent the scooter or get someone to drive you around the exciting Koh Kood.

If you follow the path on the left side of the beach you come to another resort after 1/2 hour. Here you can rent canoes and row a nice trip on a river. You sail past vary houses on stilts, a deserted temple, which you can visit if you are properly dressed and lots of mangrove trees.

Neverland resort is popular among Thai, and is one of the last desert beaches on Koh Kood.

the place is situated in a very nice bay with no other resort. the service is not very good, especially at the restaurant, very slow and with small choice.we had the luck to find a thai guide, Oy, working in the resort, who took care of us and the other guests for everything. the only real problem was represented by the frequent groups of russian tourists, coming from Pattaya, who were particularly noisy and intrusive.

I was in two minds whether or not to write a review about Neverland as its pretty much an undiscovered paradise (especially for Europeans!) and it would be nice to keep it that way.
Anyway, decision made - If your after 4/5star accommodation and service to match, I would carry on looking, but if your after an absolutely immaculate beach, cute bungalows and scrumy Thai food, Neverland is your kinda place.
The staff are very friendly and their patchy English makes conversations interesting - but thats all the fun of it surley?!
There seems to be lots of Russian holiday makers at this resort and ao prao resort who keep themselves to themselves but they're not the friendliest of people! :)
I must stress the beach is amazing, with a backdrop like Jurassic Park!
We also stayed at Ao Prao and the beach here at Neverland tops that aswell!
Pure relaxation, there isn't much in the way of entertainment, so you are forced to relax and chill out - although you can rent bikes during the day but be sure to come back way before dark as there are no light on the road and be careful when driving on sand!!
