Ours was a one night stay on 30th December 2009, on our way from Srinagar to Jammu. Five of us booked two adjascent rooms (206 & 207).
From our brief experience, the hotel seemed on a bit expensive side (about Rs.1,700 per room) compared to its location and offered facilities.
Location of this large hotel is towards the right end of the town (when you face Patnitop) and faces the town instead of the valley, so do not expect a wide vista of the valley from any of its rooms.
Food prices at the restaurant were high (Coffee-Rs.45), but the quality of room service and food were decent. Room decor and furnishings were also of decent quality and looks well maintained, considering the hotel age of 13-14 years.
No racks to put personal toiletries in the bathrooms.
Room 207 bathroom cistern pipe had a dripping leak.
Room 206 had its telephone wires severed and the instrument put inside a drawer. Requests to restore it was not heeded to.
