We're on a family holiday in Vernet les Bains, six adults, four children aged 2 to 8. We came here two years ago and found this little pizzeria and were pleased to be able to visit again. It has a tiny frontage tucked away off one of the narrow streets of Villefrache des Conflents and you could easily miss it. Last time we found them by chance, when other restaurants were reluctant to cope with such a large party they were able to accommodate us. This time we did the sensible thing and booked ahead. Good job we did as they had plenty of customers waiting for a table. Their pizzas really are freshly made from scratch with all locally sourced ingredients so you might wait a while especially if there's a lot of you. Order drinks and some starters to share, sit back and relax. The food is excellent - not just pizzas. The service is superb, nothing was too much trouble. They went to special lengths to prepare food for the children and there is a little toy box in one corner of the terrace out the back. Beware, you will certainly need to book if you want the terrace, but inside is just as welcoming. One of my favourite little restaurants anywhere - highly recommended.
