My boyfriend and I went on a SUP experience with Helene and it was an amazing experience.
Neither of us had ever been on a stand up paddle board before but when we got on the water we were confident and talked through the steps and technique.
Helene spent a good amount of time with us on land to talk us through the safety of the water and what we should look for if we were to paddle board independently another time. She showed us how to hold the paddle, to turn, to board safely and what to do if you feel like you are losing your balance.
I felt confident when we went in the water and didn't fall off once! :) We had great fun viewing the old protected city and diving in the water from the paddle board. Helene took some amazing pictures of us and video on the waterproof GoPro.
I would thoroughly recommend the experience. Beware of the race at the end! ;)

Thank you Helene! Hope to see you again! x

The Sa Pedrera Hotel & Ristorante is located at road SP6 in San Savaltore, 7 kms west from Oristano.

The hotel was built in 1994 and offers 14 rooms, a restaurant & bar, and a patio garden around an open arcade. Staffs are welcoming and friendly.

Sa Pedrera hotel is very quiet, clean, non-smoking. Rooms are decorated and furnished in Sardinian style, with OK beds. Windows can be opened and have mosquito screens.

Our room had a desk, TV, fridge & wardrobe, and a separate shower, and a separate bathroom with washbasin, toilet & bidet. At the open arcade you find the room entrance a table & chairs. All was clean. No coffee & tea making facility in the room.

Amenities include free parking at the property and free Internet. You need a car to reach the place. The hotel is simple and comfortable: a good place for a relaxing stay. You can visit the ruins of Tharros, or discover the region.

We would recommend Sa Pedrera hotel to anyone who seeks comfort in a quiet environment.

Unfortunately we found the restaurant unimpressive. The Sa Pedrera Ristorante doesn’t offer value for money.

Our experience at Sa Pedrera was enjoyable, perhaps we had just come from a two day stay in centro Cagliari. The quiet of the country was very welcome, although noise from nearby rooms was a factor at times. However, it never woke us up or kept us from sleeping. The very helpful and friendly staff answered any questions and provided a great map and information about local attractions and interesting things to see. The poor internet coverage was spotty and it was better outside your room than inside. There was a very relaxing outdoor area to lounge in and a hot tub that was available upon request. The grounds were very beautiful as well. At 95 euros with a modest standard breakfast, it was on the borderline high side for what you get.

The location is very convenient because it is bery close to the famous beach Is Arutas as well as the nearest town Cabras. It has a nice garden inside with a very relaxing fragrance of flowers. It also has a bubble bath which is very relaxing after a long day at the beach. The restaurant is a little bit overpriced but the seafood was delicious and it was good to drink a bottle of wine and go to the room by walking.

The hotel is well located for exploring the sinis peninsular and surrounding sights. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The manager and other members of staff are all very helpful and friendly. In fact they went out of their way to make us feel very welcome. Breakfast was very good but options for evening meal very limited for anyone not eating fish. Overall this was a very good value stay, but be careful of the mozzies; they have a very nasty bite.
