The hotel room was clean and functional and the reception staff was very helpful. The water was undrinkable which is strange and inconvenient, but staff made up for it by distributing free bottled water. All this was however negated by the terrible dinner experiences (getting worse over two days) to which our family was subjected. Orders were mixed up with those of other clients, the quality of the food was poor (badly burned calamari, chemically tasting onion soups, flavorless steak), two hours waiting time for the main course (apparently in a restaurant that can seat 200 clients, having 25 clients is too much for the kitchen staff). After receiving (and finishing) our first course we were informed by the waitress that three of our five main course orders could not be provided since they had run out of ingredients. We had to reorder and wait again, since it was too late (having three small children) to drive to another restaurant. This left all of us exhausted, not to mention having wasted our entire evening.
A bit of common sense would not hurt the hotel staff, i.e. when you know you cannot serve more than 25 people in a timely manner, they should inform anyone arriving after their client limit has been reached, that the waiting times are several hours and let the clients decide whether they want to wait, rather than springing this "surprise" on them after an extended wait.

An overall most unpleasant experience for which I certainly recommend avoiding this hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms facing away from the highway are quieter

Hotel was very clean and smelled nice. Well water apparently made the water taste of sulphur but free bottles of water available from staff. Not a problem.

Bathroom was clean and looked like it was recently renovated. Pretty quiet considering it is right next to the highway.

Plan on eating at the breakfast buffet, seems reasonably priced. Prices for regular à la carte menu at the restaurant seemed a little high for family restaurant fare.

Would recommend this hotel if going to parc safari or travelling to and from US and you need a stop.

stayed here at the beginning and the end of a tour. room was large, with a kitchenette, and faced the property behind the hotel (trees, quiet). unable to drink the tap water (hotel provided bottled water) because the hotel is on well water, and apparently they don't trust the supply to be 100% safe. (inconvenient...) staff was friendly and accommodating. BIG BIG BIG downside: NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE with dinner, both times we ate there. they cannot handle large groups! waited HOURS to get our meals, and the orders were mixed up and wrong multiple times. VERY frustrating, but is the only place to eat in the area. breakfast was good (because it was a buffet, and they just had to put the food out and restock it, which was done well). stay somewhere else unless you wish to drive a ways for dinner!

Beautiful and affordable Hotel situated not far from US border and a 10min drive from Parc Safari.

Very friendly staff.

In room are 2 water bottles for your usage and self serve coffee

Rooms are very clean, restaurant serves really good food. The service is good.

Pool is great to cool off. However, we couldn't use it for long coz of the rain.

Breakfast buffet is added pay and it is worth it.

Shall definitely book again when in the area.

Stayed here for a couple nights and visited parc safari. Cute hotel, nice rooms, comfortable bed. The outdoor pool was a good place to relax in the afternoon. They offer a breakfast buffet to the guests at a low cost. Nothing special but fills you up. Had dinner at the restaurant as well. Food was good, waitress was friendly. Literally right on the other side of the border so very easy to get to. Not much nearby though, so if you're looking to explore you can't do that very much here.
