We stayed in a boston lodge, it was beautiful, all mod cons and very clean. could not fault it, plenty of places to go nearby, a little shop on park and playgrounds for children
Was lovely sitting on veranda watching red squirrels. rabbits and lots of birds..

Had friends staying here and visited them for the day.Wish it had been longer. What a well laid out park.Lots of trees and flowering shrubs giving each van/home privacy.Rhodendrons, azaleas, hebies,to name a but few were in full bloom. What an array of colour.Only too glad we had not visited the day before as there had been an infestation of midges!!The show home well worth a visit.Wow!! sheer luxury.

Have camped at this campsite for a number of years now and always thoroughly enjoyed it. The walks and scenery are outstanding and so peaceful. This is a place for anyone looking for a healthy relaxing time with an an abundance of wildlife including the beautiful red squirrels. The shop is always well stocked and will even reserve a paper for you. Staff have always been polite and very helpful and so are many of the people who visit the site. The wardens do a very good job in ensuring that everyone enjoys themselves in safety with noise at quiet times kept to a minimum. The whole area around this site is the perfect place to get away from it all especially for those who may be recovering from an illness..fresh air beautiful scenery and off course the Scottish night at Kirkgubright. Great place

Stayed for a weekend in one of the Boston Lodges, very clean and modern with all the mod cons. Lovely big park which was well managed and staff very helpful, special mention to the shop staff. Tremendous views from the lodge terrace over looking the countryside and a short walk to the picturesque villiage of Kippford. Will definitely be returning in the future.

touring pitches are lovely and big with hedges between each pitch great as wind breakers and for privacy loads of birds and rabbits around the pitches, park is well maintained with great showers and the shop has a variety of goodies on sale and you can even rent golf clubs for the golfing green across the road from the park . we had a wee walk from the site to the harbour sat and had a wee ice-cream and walked back to site. we even got the bus into dalbeatie for a wee look around the shops bus stopped for us right at the gate then dropped us back off there . we will be back again.
