“A home away from home”
Reviewed 21 June 2012 for a stay in June 2012

I have stayed here twice this year; once with my elderly mum and her dog due to building works at her home and once on holiday. The flat is extremely well appointed and is a great place to stay, for short or longer breaks. My husband and I are keen golfers and bought the electronic first in Fife pass. Kirkcaldy golf course is fanastic. We also enjoyed Burntisland and Charleton. We live fairly locally (Edinburgh) and it is great to have such a good amenity within 45 minutes' drive. We appreciate the extra space and relaxed atmosphere and being able to cook our own food or eat out. Hotels that feature golf breaks can be a bit stuff y and the food disappointing.

Liked best: Fixtures and fittings comparable to 4 star hotel but like being at home.
Liked least: Nothing really. Perhaps a curtain at top of stair to prevent loss of heat.

Hello. Thank you for your review. It really helps to learn of the pros and cons for guests and very helpful for me to keep the place in top shape. Thanks also for the information on the golf pass. I shall make sure these details are available to the next guests. Hope to see you again soon.

“Beautiful Apartment in a great location”

What a beautiful apartment; lovely decor, clean, well equipped with everything you need whether staying for a long weekend or a longer holiday. Lovely and quiet and a short walk to the beach. There is also a handy supermarket nearby if you run out of any essentials. Although the apartment is very well equipped with extra provisions. Lovely welcome gift of local hand made Tablet and a bottle of wine. A great location for visiting the coastal villages of Fife or popping into Edinburgh. I have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and certainly hope to stay again.

“Perfect accomodation”

We stayed at The Inchview Apartment as it was perfectly situated for visiting family in Fife and for popping to Edinburgh or further up the coast to St Andrews.

The apartment was beautifully decorated and maintained with great facilities.

We didn't need to worry about bringing anything with us. There was even fresh milk, tea, coffee and orange juice on our arrival. With the added bonus of a bottle of wine and a box of biscuits.

We have travelled quite extensively with our young children and always choose to stay in self catering apartments. This was by far the best.

We have already recommended the apartment to relatives. We will definitely be staying there again.

Oh and for the best fish and chips in Scotland head up the coast to Anstruther.
