Lovely little village surrounds the Crown, obviously a popular place to eat. We booked a room with a bath and terrace. Even though it was a room, it felt very private, almost appartment like, with uninterrupted open contryside rolling away from the french doors that open onto a private neat little terrace with table and chairs.
The en-suit is very well serviced with underfloor heating, overhead walk in shower, a seperate large bath. Lots of crisp clean towels and robes provided.
Well stocked complementary refreshments tucked away in a closet. Well stocked mini bar at reasonable public bar prices. Room servuce until 9pm, book a table with room. The dining room can get busy although stays intimate and the food and excellent service derserves its awarded titles amongst them, Best Sufffolk eatery so i believe.
The matteress is high quality although for our personal preference a tad firm, the black out curtains, private and very peaceful location ensured a goodnights rest.
An excellent location to explore the vale.More
