A Lebanese friend recommended this cafe and he was not wrong!
Wonderful home made food at a really good price.
We had the Vegetarina platter and Kafta. Both excellent.

After seeing a MKR program about Jordanian cooking I was really looking forward to eating here, as a Jordanian friend recommended this place, saying "it is the best one we have in Perth.". I was disappointed because I did expect more flavour in the food. The Tabouleh was good and plenty of it. The 6 balls of Falafel were tasty but the Baked Kibbeh was dry and really lacked flavour. Also, make sure you are not there when the place is full or a birthday party happening because it is an ear deafening noise!

The venue has indoor and outdoor seating, however, over the weekend it gets really busy so reservation is advised. The food is home made and absolutely delicious. The gentle owner takes it upon himself to inquire whether the meal has been to your satisfaction. We have tried several dishes and they are all equally good. Recommended.

Last visit for us was February 2014. Went last night (11/1/2018) and can honestly say it is still one of the best Lebanese restaurants in Perth.

We stopped coming to thei restaurant because of the parking problems in and around the restaurant....not much fun driving up and down side streets trying to find a park, so decided to have a change of scenery. Last night we found a park very quickly (ok so had to put $3.00 in a meter) but that was better than before.

We were stuned that the Manager/Owner and his lovely son remembered us after all this time...just like going home. Menu has not changed which is good news...still excellent and in our opinion why change when what you have works.

It is still a bit noisy, wooden floor and high ceilings...we are getting older now so we were aware of this. Food, service, excellent...thanks guys....and guess what...they now accept credit card!! big bonus!!!

Keep up the good work, and we will be back again soon.

I've been going to the Prophet for many years now. The food is excellent - from the complimentary garlic spread with gherkins and bread to the falafael which you won't find better in Perth. The cauliflower with tahini, the beans, and not to mention my favourite which is the lamb ladies fingers. It's a small restaurant, BYO which makes it even more affordable, great atmosphere, can be noisy but adds to the appeal. Love it, love it! Thanks Christian and Jihad! You're the best!
