We stopped here for lunch one day and when we went in it was fairly crowded, though there were some empty tables. We waited for someone to come and seat us and finally flagged down the guy who seemed to be the head waiter and said we would like to have lunch. He was extremely rude, snarling "you'll have to wait" (in Italian), and without any further explanation or niceties, abruptly turned and stormed off. We waited for a while longer to see if he or someone else would come back and tell us when we might expect to be seated but we were completely ignored. He would not even make eye contact with us, so we finally left. It's too bad, as we have a home in the area and always like to eat at places like this, but we will certainly never darken the door of La Finestrella again!
