“Little Roost”
Reviewed 6 September 2017 for a stay in August 2017

Late minute booking- excellent communication with Rose (the owner of little roost) from start to finish. Beautiful, idyllic little cottage and location. Ideal place to visit if you need to escape the hustle and bustle of every day life. Cottage extremely comfy and well equipped. Lovely walking area but be aware the area is hilly. There is plenty of information about the walks etc in the cottage which we found very useful. Had a meal in the local pub - food was plentiful and good value for money. We would recommend little roost to anyone. Very friendly welcome with an added bonus of fresh eggs, bread, bottle of wine and milk waiting for us - very considerate. Thank you Rose for letting us stay.

“Fabulous!”
Reviewed 31 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

This is by far the best short break we have ever had due to Rosemary the owner's sweetness and kindness during our stay and for the cutest cosiest cottage imaginable in beautiful Lyme Regis. There is everything you need there and more! We absolutely loved the sun trap of a private roof garden! Warm clean and well equipped with Rosemary and family just a door away to assist in the most helpful kind way! We were super lucky with the weather but suspect you would enjoy the cottage in any weather as it is so delightful and thoughtfully filled with DVDs and books and guides of the area. We will be returning as soon as we are able.

“Lovely well appointed property with great access into Lyme Regis”
Reviewed 29 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

This was a very relaxing cottage with superb amenities and easy walking to the local pub and also into Lyme Regis. The patio sitting area was excellent for a glass of wine or two. The eggs from the local chickens were absolutely gorgeous.

“Comfortable & relaxed stay with good access to Lyme Regis”
Reviewed 21 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

This little cottage is every bit as comfortable and well cared-for as other reviews have described and we would happily stay there again. A half-hour walk to the seafront at Lyme Regis may not sound super-convenient, but it's pretty flat and a doddle compared to the hills in Lyme itself, so give it a go. The Black Dog is a lovely cafe two minutes drive towards town, and the local pub is only ten minutes walk along the river path.

Thanks for coming to stay and glad you enjoyed the walk into Lyme. We're fortunate to be situated on the popular East Devon Way, a lovely walk into town right outside your doorstep and a great excuse to leave the car behind.
