Owner seems pleasant enough, but attention to detail is somewhat lacking. For two of us there were 3 sachets of coffee - no tea at all - and the two coffee sachets we used weren't replaced for the next day. Ditto the cartons of milk, so we had no milk for the second morning (despite a full sized fridge in our room that was completely and utterly empty). Rather more inconveniently, friends staying at the same time as us had no towels in their room on day two.
The décor is, well, decidedly idiosyncratic. Hotel Bric-a-Brac was how a friend described it. Everwhere is bizarrely cluttered, with no really discernable theme, except, perhaps, for that of "pigs" in the breakfast room. The apparently suicidal clown hanging from the landing ceiling was probably the most disturbing item - that and the "Don't Look Know" child-doll in the conservatory.
