We stayed here for bed and breakfast and got the warmest of welcomes. After being shown our cute room, we were brought a pot of tea and a cake and had a nice chat with the owners, Breakfast the next day was delicious, and served early without any demur so that we could set off walking. Our room was lovely, with an old range (cant be lit) , very comfy beds, hot water bottles and a nice en suite. Home made biscuits and drinks to make too. Will definitely be back! BTW this should be in the Accommodation section.

Stopped here for a morning breakfast as staying in Dent for a weekend break. Lovely family run cafe with a rustic charm to it. Tasty food nice salmon with scrambled egg on toast big portion which I couldn't finish. Friendly owners very welcoming. Highly recommend and the cakes looked very tempting!

We wandered in here after walking from our accommodation over the fields late in the afternoon. Being open til 5 was a bonus. Tea and cake with wensleydale was all tasty.
Returning the next morning for breakfast and receiving soft white bread rolls with good quality sausage and bacon. We also took away a very tasty slab of flapjack for later. Our last visit was in the pouring rain after a run and they were still doing food at almost 4pm. A nice warm bowl of soup by the fire was just what we needed.
Staff were friendly and engaged without being intrusive and I'd highly recommend. Would definitely consider the B&B next time we head that way. It's not the cheapest but is one of those places where quality is worth paying for.
