“Lovely property at a fantastic price”
Reviewed 5 May 2014 for a stay in April 2014

Lovely cottage in rural surroundings 3 miles outside Denbigh.
With some nice thoughtful, welcoming touches from the owners, the Mill has been restored beautifully and has lots of character plus many homely touches - books, games, DVDs and a great garden for exploring. To be honest, there's not much to do in the immediate area, but it's a good base in the lovely surroundings of the foothills of the Hiraethog and not too far from Rhyl, Llandudno, Conwy, Betws etc. Would recommend this property to people of all ages who like the countryside and quiet surroundings. My wife & 5 and 2 year old daughters loved it and so we'll definitely be returning.
One last tip: if you go into Denbigh to eat, the Italian restaurant on the main road to Rhyl - Con Amici - is nice and really family-orientated. My kids made their own pizza and coloured-in to their hearts content whilst we ate some nice food in friendly, convivial surroundings.

“Gorgeous.”
Reviewed 1 May 2014 for a stay in April 2014

What an absolutely gorgeous place to stay. From waking to the sound of running water and bird song, to the presentation and layout of the mill. Perfectly situated, not far from Denbigh town, where I can highly recommend the Curry houses. The owners of the mill are a pleasure to deal with, and the chocs and Welsh cakes are a very nice gift.. Altogether a great stay, wish it had been longer..

“Peace and tranquillity in the Welsh Countryside”
Reviewed 7 March 2014 for a stay in February 2014

We were looking for a somewhere for a quiet long weekend with our 6 year old and 2 year old and Segrwyd Mill didn't disappoint. Equipped with everything you need for self-catering accommodation and some nice little, unexpected touches. The mill has been tastefully restored and the owners have harnessed lots of the working parts within the house.

Would definitely stay again.

The old Mill has been tastefully converted providing excellent facilities. Used it as a base to walk and explore North Wales. Nice and quiet, want to come back in the summer to enjoy the garden and do some more walking.
