Review of Packwood House

Packwood House

I visit this property regularly. It is a lovely house built in 1598 by the Featherstone family and has a lovely feel and interesting history. The grounds are lovely especially the walled garden in June,July the colour is magnificent. A large lake situated at the back of the house which you can walk round. In Spring it’s known for its daffodils

The hall is very old and beautiful, the shop and Cafe are modern as is the toilets etc. plenty of parking as well. Don;t forget to find the wall garden, they are some of the best I have found so far.

Thank you for your comments. Our Walled Kitchen Garden is a main attraction here at Packwood and to see how it changed over the seasons is well worth some repaeat visits, hopefully you will return and see this for yourself. Many thanks.

Great to do as a morning or afternoon interesting place would more suited for adults as there isn't much for children to do there lots to explore in side and lovely lake walk around the grounds. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Parking is easy and right near another property so you can visit both.

Thank you for your lovely comments. A lot of people do visit both us and Baddesley Clinton (another NT property a couple of miles away) and this makes for a lovely and interesting day. Many thanks.
