Returning to a place you have really enjoyed can be risky - will you feel disappointed? Not here! We have had another wonderfully peaceful stay at Laburnum Cottage. The dogs really loved the garden and the proximity of shops, places for coffee and meals allowed a restful break. We hope to be back.
we had a lovely Easter stay in the cottage the owners emailed directions and how to access the property, nice and clean lovely walks from the cottage and just on the edge of the village handy for restaurants and takeaways no need to drive if you dont want to, cottage nice and spacious everything you need for a stay and we had the logs burning a couple of nights nice and cosy.
at the end of the garden is the river quiet walks every morning with the dog was heaven Harley the dog loved it could not fault anything and would stay again .
every day we walked past Spice the Indian restaurant so on easter sunday decided to go there for a meal at night but was so busy never thought to book so we ended up in another little Indian Spice of Bengal was really nice and also ate in black swan pub Fri night that was nice too we all had a really chilled out stay
Had a really lovely time , cottage was lovely and had everything we needed , lovely large garden that the dog loved , owners were really helpful ,would definatly recommend to others and will hopefully revisit in summer time, georgeous little village . Thanks to Terry and Sarah
A long overdue review. Laburnum cottage had everything you could want in a self-catering property. Walking distance to the town and local pubs. A nice stroll along the beck that runs behind the property. Initial concern about on-street parking was unfounded. Could always park within a couple of car lengths of the front gate. Terry and Sarah are doing a gret job
