We found this hostel in a hurry to find somewhere to sleep and we were really happy with it. We were alone in a room and had a nice big doubble bed. bathroom was a bit dark, but otherwise really nice and clean (of corse). We also tried their hamburgers and were verry good. They did forget our breakfast, but we did get it later. I liked the kitchen/dining room.

Nangijala Hostel, really easy to find and once your in you will be greeted by, usually, the warm smile of Maria your Swedish host at the bar. At first a bit odd having to go out from the bar to re-enter by another door to the hostel part ( in the old building) but its understandable as there is the kitchen in between, and you don't walk through the kitchen.
The rooms are very clean and cosy. great beds and duvet stuff. Shared showers are very good( but i was solo and not many other guests). Brill decking area at south facing side of hostel, away from road noise, overlooking small river and mountains beyond, great for a sunny relax and beer in afternoon/evening. Victor in the kitchen, really nice guy. They have a new building at rear which looks fantastic inside but yet to have the "Alpine look" outside.

Room Tip: The rear rooms of the old, road side building, can suffer from noise of late night drinkers if you need an early night.

Nice, trendy place to stay. Breakfast a little patchy, did run out of bred at 9.00 on a sunday. Located close to ski lift. Village does not offer much of excitment in the evening. So just for ski and sleep/powder. Staff is friendly, but somewhat superficial, so it is a small place but one does not feel like family. Rooms are simple but newly built and therefore practical and clean. Bathrooms have black walls and floors and also one small lamp, so too dark. Burgers are nice , happy hour is good value for money as you get two beers for one.

We booked a long weekend in Nangijala sponteanously without knowing what to expect. From the first moment we felt comfortable as crew was very uncomplicated and friendly. We had a 3 bed room in the "old" part of the hostel which was clean and practical with a shared wc/shower on the floor. There's a pub as well as a cafe in the same building. Both of them are having an excellent joyce of dishes (try the outstanding burgers or Pacos Deli). Overall we only can recommend this place run by a young crew with a great music taste.

We stayed here as a large group from London in November, not for skiing as it was pre-season but we caught the first snowfall. Normally I wouldn't bother writing reviews but the guys who run this place went out of their way to make us feel welcome. It's a little walk outside the centre, but it's worth it for the relaxed atmosphere of the bar - good music, decent locally sourced food & craft beers. They know what is going on in the rest of the world!
We stayed in the new guest house building, compact rooms but modern, robust and well designed. This is set slightly apart from the main building and the terrace and has its own breakfast room overlooking a little stream. I would say its good for groups and active individuals coming to ski or bike. If you want a big room where you can watch CNN rather than talk to people and be social, go to the Hilton.
