I stayed at Casa Bamby in Cogolo in April 2015 with my family during our skiing holidays in the Italian Alps. We were going skiing every day from Cogolo to Passo Tonale, which was very close and which has a glacier, so the skiing conditions were always excellent (even in April).
Casa Bamby is a fantastic place, which we highly recommend. Great house with very spacious apartments in an idyllic location surrounded by high mountains. Cogolo is a very nice Alpine village with good restaurants etc.
Sandra is a lovely and very friendly person. During our stay she treated us with delicious apple pie which she baked herself.
We enjoyed our holidays a lot and we can highly recommend a stay at Casa Bamby in Cogolo.

We Arrived on a Sunday having taken 2 leisurely days drive from home in England. We have been to Pejo before and know just how convenient it is for skiing in different locations within a max of half an hours drive. Being past our prime it is great to be able to pay for only 2 hours skiing or, once we are fit a full day,
The apartment is spacious with a very comfortable double bed in the main bedroom, 2 bunks in 2nd bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge. The kitchen is adequate and the size meant that I was told to keep out! The TV has only Italian programmes but the dvd slot works well and we had our own supply of films to watch. They are a must if you have nearly 100cm of snow in two days. There is a washing machine in the spacious bathroom which I am told was easy to use.
There free ski-bus (50m away) to the nearest ski area but we used our own transport which was more convenient. Chains are a legal requirement in all Alpine resorts and the practise I had in the UK made fitting them in 10 minutes easy. (I have a small rug and gloves to use when fitting them)
Finally the hostess Sandra greeted us with fresh home made biscuits delicious apple strudel.
