We have just returned home following a fantastic 2 weeks spent in this apartment in the Garden of Eden complex, and we are already looking to book again next year.
We travelled as a family of 6 (my husband and I and our 4 children) and the apartment suited us perfectly. There is a large open plan living/dining/kitchen area, 2 decent size bedrooms (one en suite), bathroom and small utility area. There are 2 balconies, one with a sea view which was well utilized during our stay.
The Garden of Eden complex is beautiful and set just on the edge of the resort (its approximately a 15 minute walk into the resort centre). There are a number of swimming pools dotted around the complex which we clean and well maintained. There were always plenty of sunbeds, so no need to be up at the crack of dawn to put the towels out. There are 3 restaurants and a beach bar on the complex which were very reasonably priced and the food and service was excellent. The beach bar were a firm favourite of ours and we were drinking very generous measures of gin and tonic for around £1.50. The complex has its own beach which were quiet and very relaxing. There is an animation team that provide guests with daily activities such as darts, water volley ball etc (although we didn't tend to get involved with this). There were also some evening entertainment, such as a mini disco for the little ones and shows in the restaurants. The complex also provide transport at cheaper rates than local taxis.
a 5-10 minute walk away is a public beach and marina which is absolutely stunning. The marina is certainly worth a visit and is more formal than the restaurants in the resort centre. The restaurnats look very procey and although you will pay more for food here than in the resort centre it still only cost us £40 for a 2 course meal and bottle of wine for 2 . Even if you dont eat here, its nice just to people watch and admire all the nice cars (there were a few Ferrari's, and Bentleys parked up most nights).
We caught the water Taxi from the Complex to the old town of Nessebar which is definitely worth a visit. There are lots of lovely little shops in quaint cobbled streets and beautiful restaurants overlooking the sea. We also went to the aquapark in Nessebar which again were definitely worth a visit. We did venture into Sunny Beach a couple of times, but this resort its much more commercialised and very busy. If you like lively night life however, then sunny beach is an ideal place to visit and only 10 minutes in a taxi costing around £7.
Overall, this were a fantastic relaxing family holiday in a beautiful resort..
