We visited there 5-6 times and i really like this place very much. This is away from the busiest tourist places. every time we enjoyed alot. And you are going there don't miss to eat the trout fish. its really a place where you can relax and enjoy the natural beauty. Not such big hotels are there but get some good and clean on cheap prices. People are really very help full and many tracking options also there. We always doing there and local people also navigating us where we can enjoy.

Barot Valley is the virgin valley of the Himachal in Mandi district which is not spoiled by tourist yet. It's the hidden, unexplored and untouched paradise of Himachal with less tourism activities. This place is famous for its trout fishing and angling. It has way for many small treks and even Bara Bhangal trek passes through this valley. It has nothing to do except fishing and river crossing like activities but if you want to spend some time at a peaceful place close to nature, Barot Valley is the perfect destination for you. It has number of home-stays which you can get in INR 500-1000 per day. PWD Guest house and Taj River View are two places which I recommend to stay in this beautiful valley.

a group of four friends went for angling at the scenic barot valley.we had our accomodation at mapple adventure camp run by Dr.N.K Singla.the place is very scenic and located on the banks of the uhl river that runs through barot.the organisation was impeccable and tej singh the caretaker made sure that we had a wonderful experience for our stay there.our angling guide naresh was very kind and helpful too.this place is famous for fishing for rainbow trouts that were introduced by the british in this valley.they also have a government run trout farm that you can buy fish from.
