Pine Drive Resort is one of the finest Resort in Himachal with all the facilities of a 4 star hotel. I stayed there for 1 day with my husband on my first wedding anniversary and the overall experience was excellent. I would like to recommend this resort to everyone.

Room Tip: Corner suites are large and sunny"

I and three colleagues stayed at this hotel in late May. We all stayed in separate rooms – I believe the best executive rooms in the hotel. These were large, airy, comfortable and clean. The views were fantastic as were the views from the whole of the hotel.

The service was pleasant and helpful and the Manager friendly and charming. The food was plain and simple and well cooked, though not a gourmet experience. I can recommend other travellers to this hotel.

We went to Pine Drive Resort for the weekend with the entire family and booked ourselves in super deluxe rooms. The place is awesome - quiet & serene. The property is nice at the top of the hill and an ideal place to relax and be one with the nature. Rooms are nice and clean and the service is good. Not much of activities - best is to just sit in the balcony read a book and enjoy the view with pine trees all around.... no crowd no traffic just a peaceful getaway ...recommened

I stayed here for a night with my mother because we had some work to attend to in Solan. The vice president of the group Mr. Sharma is also the manager of this property and does a brilliant job. He was kind enough to travel with us for our work so as to make it easier for us to find our destination etc. since he is originally from this area. A beautiful steep winding road leads you up to the reception. A lot of wood has been used in the rooms as well as the public areas which gives you a very warm feeling that you would get in a hunting lodge of sorts. Don't miss the natural rock of the mountain the hotsl is built on that has been left as is in the middle of the reception wall. The food is as good as you would expect it to be in a relatively remote area and the service is very good. F&B staff Sanjay Chauhan did a great job. Hotel staff accompanied us on a trek to a nearby orchard (also owned by them) and were very informative. There is a terrace from which you get an amazing view of all the nearby mountains. Opposite your bed there is no wall. Just a huge piece of glass covering what would be the 4th wall of the room completely. In effect, you get a panoramic view of the mountains infront, sunset etc. We also had a large balcony on this side. Overall, a wonderful stay an I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Solan.

We had originally booked Birds View Resort in Kasauli for 3 nights. It was a horrible experience and we checked out the next day after paying a penalty. We were planning to go to Chail Palace . On the way to Barog we saw the signs for Pine Drive Resort. We took a chance and checked out the place.

It was awesome. Its a proper 4 star resort in the middle of mountains. And rates are very reasonable. With 25% discount, we got a premium room for Rs.2800/night. The hospitality is great, the staff is extremely courteous. The manager Mr.Sharma is a seasoned hospitality executive. He was nice enough to take us to a nearby dairy farm and orchard owned by the Chairman of pine drive resort. Our 2yr old son had a blast.

Food is a bit expensive but I think the high prices are expected in mountains. Food was also very good. It was like home made food.

Overall is a great resort - its actually a resort unlike other places which call a building on the road a resort. Plan to visit this again.
