Given this Hotel a Very Good rating as there are areas that need to given serious thought by the Management.

Reception.....Cannot be faulted as we found checking in and out really easy and the whole reception team were very pleasant and helpful whenever we spoke to them.

Room.....We had room C316 and it was spotlessly clean when we got there and it was cleaned every day even on those days we told them it wasn't needed and clean towels daily if required. Balcony had a sea view and on the door side there was a view of the mountains and a partial view of Los Gigantes range. Kettle in the room but no tea/coffee supplied so take your own or there is a Hyperdino a few minutes walk away if you prefer to buy stuff in resort.

Pools....1 baby pool and 3 others of which the one by the Gym is heated but we chose to go to the one on the next level which did not seem to attract as many children.

Grounds.......There are several different levels to this Hotel and, unless you are in D block, then you will have 1 - 3 slopes of varying steepness to get up and down. Block D is reached via a slope but it is much more gentle than the rest.

Dining area......When we first got there, 20th March 2018, there was not a problem with queueing at any time for any meal. However approaching Easter more people came to the Hotel and, at times, there were queues for tables. What did not help was there did not seem to be enough staff in there as more than once we could see tables that the previous diners were finished with but there was nobody to clear away the plates and then reset the table for several minutes.

Food.....We always found something to eat and it was more than enough to satisfy us. It was not Cordon Bleu but we had not paid for that style of food. An old but true saying is "You get what you pay for".

Entertainment.....During the day it was by the Animation Team and you were invited to take part if you wanted to but you did not feel forced into participating. We were there for 12 days and saw various shows at night some by the Animation Team and others by professional acts and,the one complaint we have about the shows is this, there are too many pillars in the way of the stage. This causes people to stand up and they block off the view for a lot of the room and we saw several people just get up and walk out because they were unable to see from the back. Also the bar in there, which is the main one for the Hotel, is quite small and if there were 3 people behind it they were getting in each other's way AND you can be in the queue and if someone wearing a Gold wristband comes in they go straight to the front and get served in front of you and we saw one person wearing one of these just stand there waving his band in the bar-mans face until he got served.

Getting around.....There is a bus stop right outside the Hotel that will take you into Los Gigantes for 1.45 Euros per Adult one way. Cross over the road and you can get a bus into Los Christianos and other areas of the island. These are the local Green buses but there are plenty of places where you can go to book trips just down from the Hotel or you can go into Los Gigantes and book there.

We have some concerns about going back to this Hotel even though we had a great time there. The main one for US is the number of slopes because I have a lung condition and my Hubby is 67 years old. The indoor entertainment area needs to be looked at but the pillars in there have to be there as they are holding the upper floors up. Dining room needs more staff in the busiest times of the year to alleviate some of the queues OR make the opening times longer as there are only 3 hours to get fed in at night.

This is my review of OUR time at the Hotel and if the above issues can be sorted in some way then we would certainly go there again.

Room Tip: Blocks A and B are closer to the main road than the others

Dear Debra,

Thank you very much for the time you spent to share your personal impressions of your stay at our Allegro Isora. We always welcome feedback, as it allows us to continually improve the experience we create for our guests.

We have taken good note of your remark on the queues at times in our bar and regret reading your dissatisfaction, our barmen shifts are studied to ensure an impeccable service throughout the day and are reinforced during peak hours, nevertheless we commit to improve on this aspect of our services so as to avoid receiving this kind of feedback in the future.

We have also taken good note of your remarks about the premium service(gold band)and I would like to explain to you that the customers who purchase this service have precedence,as for the bar but always and within the limits of the possible.

On the other hand; we are very pleased to read that you did like the room we accommodated you in and that you found it to be clean and comfortable at all times.

Thank you again for making us your choice hotel on this occasion, we look forward to serving you again in the near future.

Best regards

Liked this quiet location and low rise buildings. Hotel well maintained and clean. Food quality and variety good. Sometimes had to queue at busy times for food. Entertainment very good but indoor theatre had poor sight lines from some of the tables to the stage. One of the Pools warm enough to swim in in March as it was heated.

Having read negative reviews before we went we chose this holiday because it was cheap. I think because I these views in my head the hotel was not as bad as expected my partner was very surprised too. Had to que for dining room, but we stood in the que at 6.50 next to door for opening at 7. Breakfast was manic after 9.15 really big que. it does tell you what the busiet times. But overall we had a really lovely stay, I would definitely go back to this hotel again, but we do like to try different ones. I do think the restaurant could do with being expanded some how as there seems a lot of rooms, pools and sun beds, for a small restaurant. We located our selves by the baby pool every day so did have to walk abit to the pool bar & toilet on the next level, but stopped us being lazy. Yes the pool is abit cold, kids didn’t really moan so doesn’t matter.
