We arrived in a slightly damp Ayerbe with a pleasant modern villa set in a large green garden with quite a few nice shrubs and view to Loarre castle in distance. There was a refreshing lack of documented rules and regulations, and it was quick and easy to feel at ease in the property. All the kitchen and electrical facilities worked well and all the rooms were decorated really nicely. It was worth bringing a plug for the bathroom if you are having a bath, however the showers were fine. The pool was greatly appreciated by all especially the kids, who were also fascinated by the various lizards and even frogs who shared the property with us. It got steadily hotter as the week progressed albeit with lightning and thunder at nights. Worth bringing insect repellant as this is in a semi-rural location. Also great for kids was the relatively few expensive and fragile ornaments around at risk of breakage which made life more relaxing for the parents.
Worth checking the directions with the owner and having her phone number to hand however when travelling to property for first time. The grid reference got as far as the nearby petrol station! There was lots of other useful material sent before we arrived
I did not know what to expect from Aragon but was pleasantly taken aback by the varied and unusual scenery. Ayerbe I recommend as a nice old-fashioned market town with all the amenities you need and nice Renaissance buildings. Helps to have a spanish phrase book to hand though in the cafes and shops.
Finally Yolanda the owner was a very friendly and welcoming host and we'd recommend this property to everyone who is keen to see the fine scenery in this area.
