Stayed in a mountain view room decorated in local style and with it's own private patio. A really comfortable and stunning place. Staff were very professional and friendly despite me having very little Spanish! Food was brilliant - mostly local and very fresh including wine from their own Bodega at €3 a generous glass. The scenery was breath-taking and although temperatures in early July were in the mid 30's there was lots of shady places to relax. Cadiar is about a 40 minute walk across country and worth a visit. Many thanks for a wonderful stay Antonio and team

Room Tip: Wifi in bar and library was free but rather temperamental.

This hotel, bar, restaurant cannot be faulted for it's location, the gardens were refurbished last year with with wicker furniture and a hammock! The tapas is excellent and the views stunning, we keep returning....we've not eaten in the restaurant for sometime so are unable to comment further.

Beautiful rural venue. The decoration of the room was lovely, very fitting. We had our own patio, which is probably nice in summer when it's more crowded. Only two rooms were occupied while we stayed there so it was very peaceful. Dinner was good, staff was nice but it was helpful we spoke Spanish.

I didn't stay overnight but came for a lunchtime meal which was absolutely delicious, with attentive service. The place is set in the most beautiful countryside in the Alpujarras. Had a stroll around the property and can't wait to come and stay in one of the interesting bedrooms. Most tranquil and pleasant place.

An absolutely outstanding venue. Don't be deceived by its only having two stars! In terms of rustic hospitality it deserves four and in terms of the restaurant, a full five! We never ate anywhere else because the restaurant was so good; outstanding in fact. We soon got to know the staff (a family) by name and they couldn't do enough for is. This was once a tiny hamlet of (probably) pilgrims' cottages, surrounding a church and now it has been converted into rooms of the hotel complex. the pool is fantastic, the surrounding hills of the Sierra Nevadas are stunning and it offers peace, tranquillity, walking and visiting the small surrounding villages. It is tucked away, not difficult to find, but take your GPS with you! I cannot rate this place highly enough. Local wine is outstanding.
