“super nice place in the heart of Lake District”

The cottage is in in the very , very nice part of the Lake District with high quality facility. Away from the croward , but easy to go to any nice part of the lake by car.
Feel like home away from home nd we could not ask more than we have here.
If you get up early enough, you could see sun rise by the door. Sheeps were walking by the door and horses are in the back of the house.

“Perfect for a relaxing break for two.”

We stayed at Hollin How for 3 nights. We know the Lakes well and had found it difficult to find a small place that would also accept bookings for less than a week. Lovely location, handy for all the eastern and northern fells. Kitchen had everything we needed, nice big bath, shower. Would definitely recommend.

“OCD heaven!”

My girlfriend treated me to three nights here as a birthday treat. I've always wanted to visit the Lake District and Ullswater lake nearby is absolutely breathtaking! Now I'm a bit of a clean freak and always manage to find some kind of negative.. But here... None, the bed is really comfortable, the bathroom has a good sized bathtub and a corner shower with elbow room. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook, clean and eat with. There is underfloor heating downstairs which is a bonus!
Ullswater is a walkers paradise and there's a lot to be discovered including waterfalls and breathtaking views from the top of the hills. The Steamer boat runs all year round and is an unforgettable bit of sailing at an affordable price.

If your thinking of where to stay in the Lake District and want a change from hotels and B&Bs, I strongly recommend Hollin How and hope to return again myself one day!

Excellent location for walkers and general access to the lakes. Very modern property, very clean with a high specification and everything you need.
A very small negative is the lack of private outside seating area.
