As Benikea hotels go, this one is a little on the old side. That said, the value for money was fantastic and a room with a sea view was very easy to come by. Staff were helpful and rooms were big. Difficult to find that view for less anywhere in town.

Always a pleasure to come back & stay at 10 floor room

The room offers an excellent view of sea & the breeze

One can jog by the track prepared around the coast line for joggers

Night view of the city is also worth watching

I stayed at the Benikea on a visit to Yeosu for just one night. The hotel is located facing the sea although my room was facing back. There are plenty of food and drink options in the area.
Check in was efficient although English level not the best.
The room was huge and clean. It had a double and a single bed. The bathroom has a very big shower but no cabinet so all your stuff has to stay outside in the room. They also provided a lap top computer and the remaining usual amenities. TV has plenty of options if you know Korean but if you don't (like me) you'll find something to keep you company and learn about the wilderness
Breakfast starts at 7 (a bit late for business). Some (not many) Western options are available. Service is not very good since all staff disappeared.
Overall the hotel is clean and convenient (15 minutes from airport) but it will not Uau you in any way.
Safe travels.

Nice and clean Hotel direct on the seaside. Downtown restaurants are 10 minutes walk away, only. Reasonable breakfast included.
From inches airport you can approach by KTX train to Yeochun station. From there by taxi 10 minutes.lLarge size room with 3 beds. Preferably take a sea view room.

The hotel looked like ordinary building on the outside and also at the lobby. Check in was relatively quick and your passports will be photocopied for reference.

I was staying at 10th floor and the room was very spacious. After putting a queen size and a single bed, there is still big space which can literally put another deluxe king size bed with no problem. Amenities provided are pretty standard and while the furniture looked like starting to age. The room is clean and comfortable with no foul smell.

Still, the overall room condition was excellent. The room was also equipped with temperature controlled heated wooden floor (which I quite like) so that your feet won't freeze when walking around the room.

Most of the rooms has sea facing view which is a plus but the view in the morning was OK during my stay.
