This is a good place to stay for a night or two, especially if you are doing a border crossing and Migración is right across the street. The restaurant is pretty good but maybe a little expensive. The soups are terrific and that is usually what I get ( sopa Azteca or Sopa Negra). The room are okay and clean. The staff is very nice and helpful.

We got stuck at the border to Nicaragua so we decided to have dinner at Hotel Wilson. We loved the decor as it was modern and very well kept. The food was good, and after dinner when I went to pay they gestured for me to go back and they brought us some sort of dessert in a small container for each if us. Not sure what it was, almost like a solidish yogurt but I liked it. There was a language barrier but that's our fault for not learning Spanish faster. There was lots on the menu to chose from.

Just passed through for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The portions are big, food is tastey, and prices are good. Got nachos, typical platter, and chicken with rice. Over 7 yrs living in Central America. Waiter was attentive, food served pretty quick, and we got a table in the shade with a fan.

We were there for a missons trip so didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel. They don't have a booking system, so upon arrival our double rooms were magically changed to singles. After a back and forth for 15 minutes, got the rooms we wanted. The hotel room was average for non resort costa rica, and the bathroom was small, but it was clean. The bar food wasn't bad. It was good to use as a base for a missions trip. Also the breakfast included was traditional costa rican food as well, which suited our needs.

Room Tip: Free Wifi only worked in Bar area, get room away from the road.

I stayed here while on a mission trip for two weeks. Overall it was fine, but has its flaws. We had a triple room which was decent sized, one double and two singles. That only left room for one chair. There was also only one night stand. We requested another from the cleaning women and received one. Some of the rooms are updated, others not. Some of the rooms have fridges, ours did not. The jalouise window was missing and the management repaired it with packaging tape. The room did have a TV and AC. Also there was hot water and Internet. At one point the hotel was full and the Internet was difficult. Most of the time it worked slow but fine. I preferred to sit in the restaurant which had a good connection. There is a small parking area which has a gate that I don't think was ever shut. Our room had a fountain outside which was loud but usually turned off by 11. The rooms near the water tank are noisy as the pump comes on whenever anyone uses water. For a small rural town, the hotel is one I would stay in again.
