Best place to eat and stay in Naggar.
Rooms are comfortable with balconies that have amazing views of the Kullu valley and the Himalayan ranges beyond
Really enjoyed the food here. Both at the rooftop restaurant (again with a great view) and the Wool Cafe where you have the option to sit in the open-air terrace and watch the street life in Naggar. Or pick up one of the books lying around and read in peace.
They serve very decent North Indian fare but our favourite was the fresh Himalayan Trout, the crispy onion rings and the four-cheese thin crust pizza. We just kept coming back to the pizza again and again. We have not had better quattro formaggi pizza in any of the fancy places in the Indian metros.
The coffee is godsend and there is a nice selection of cakes and desserts to go with it.
The staff is very courteous and helpful, and the owners very friendly. There is a shop attached to the Hotel which sells some very fine quality Kullu shawls and caps, and some other local art and crafts.More
