We stayed a week at this hotel, part of this time with friends. The room was adequate, though felt small for the lengthy stay and the bathroom was tired. A bonus here was that the room had an effective refrigerator, so we were able to stock up with food for picnics during our day trips out.
Our biggest complaint was that on three nights over the weekend, only a buffet was available, and we found that over-priced at €32 per person, especially as there was minimal choice and the starters tended to be the same throughout the week. The hotel is quite isolated and we found very few restaurant choices in the area.
The staff, however, were very friendly and helpful. As we were staying for part of the time with a group of friends, then this was perfect for that. It was also a base for visits to a number of great places including Paris, so it was ideal for that. I would not recommend trying to make more use of the hotel than we did. It is likely that we will choose to stay there again next year, with the same group of friends.
I also have to add that the wifi did work, though it was slow and not especially reliable.
