We had our lunch and dinner here during our stay at chithirapuram resort. Good one on this locality. Special mention on chicken biryani and chicken tandoori. Spicy tasty food.

This is the only restaurant I have found in Anachal. I have eaten in the Salkara restaurant several times when I stayed in Anachal. I had there both breakfast and dinner. I have found everything very delicious.

On our First day of Kerela tour, Our Driver picked us at Cochin Airport and we were driving to Munnar. Our first stay of tour was in to be in Munnar, We requested driver to halt us at a decent place for lunch on the way to Munnar. He suggested us to have lunch at Salkara Hotel. The Location of this hotel is good, it is in middle of a town called Anachal on the way to Munnar. We sat in AC Room, the AC room had nice view of valley. Ambiance of hotel was good. Service was good. Food quality was decent. Food quantity was appreciable enough to quench hunger. Hygiene could be better. I saw a lot of foreigners having lunch at this hotel. Food prices were appreciable. Overall a decent lunch experience, could not expect more than this.

One of our best meals in India! The staff were lovely and the food was damn fine. A very understated restaurant.
I would recommend the Bindi Masala and Menthi Aloo!
