Review of The Cliff Hotel
5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 16 Oct 2016via mobile
Went to this great hotel for a short break ,on arrival the staff where very welcoming and friendly,we had room 212 which had a great sea view , unfortunately there was a small problem with the heating and to our amazement they moved us to the Bath Suite over night which was fantastic.moved back to original room the next day which was expected ,great atmosphere, night entertainment in the bar had a varied age group ,friendly staff , breakfast was good too and staff where extremely helpful.would highly recommend this hotel .

I spent two nights at this Hotel and was very pleasantly surprised. This has many features which make it stand out as a luxury Hotel, despite the fact that it only has a 3 star rating. The things it lacks are air-conditioning, lifts and balconies which would possibly make it a four star establishment. Bit of a climb down to the beach via many steps, but well worth it. I would definitely stay here again.

Room tip: Worth a little extra for a sea view

Room was good but would ask for a sea view next time. Good food both at breakfast and evening with good service and wide range. Great view from bar terrace even if a little cool out of season. Small car park which can be a problem at times particularly Sunday's when the car very is on. Wi-fi a little iffy at times.

Stayed here for the weekend for a family party. Room was satisfactory as was the bathroom. We were over the carpark but could see the sea. Breakfast was very good and all the staff were very welcoming. Only downside was that the car park is not very big and so you are left to park on the roads around the hotel.

We chose to stay here for one the night before hitting the Broads. We were impressed by the cleanliness and quality of our rooms and the facilities on offer. The bar had a great vibe and the staff were friendly, polite and accommodating. We dined in the restaurant and the food was excellent, as was the wine! Perfect location overlooking the sea. We will definitely stay there again. We would highly recommend the Italian ice cream parlour 'Dimascio' on the sea front; easily the best ice cream we've tasted. All in all, a great weekend!
