We visited Tokyo from the Dallas, TX area over Thanksgiving break. Mom, Dad, 13yo & 11yo. We could have not chosen a better hotel for our first trip to Japan. We had 2 adjoining twin rooms with a Sky Tree view on the 12th floor. We had tons of space and 2 bathrooms! The breakfast is one of the best I have ever experienced. Absolutely love the cheese bread; I could have made a breakfast on it alone. The staff in the lounge was excellent as well as the front desk staff. The location was excellent for those who have never visited Tokyo. The streets are pedestrian friendly and there is tons of shopping within steps of the hotel. Having travelled all over the globe, I give Richmond Premier 5-stars! We couldn't have been more comfortable and felt safer than with this property.

Good location, a lot of shops and restaurants around very convenience, room was clean and comfy and new, staff were very friendly.
Good size! Best values of the money.

This hotel is in a fairly convenient location in Asakusa. About 10 to 15 minutes walk from Asakusa Station (note distance may vary depending on which train line you take as there are several lines and many exits). There are two Richmond hotels across the street from each other but one is just Richmond Hotel and one is Richmond Hotel Premier Asakusa International so if your reservation has the longer later name it's the taller one on the left (when standing facing the front of both), and you need to take the elevator to the 5th floor lobby to check in.

We chose this hotel because of good reviews on TA and one reviewer's mention of access to Keisei line trains for Narita. Overall the hotel deserves the good reviews, but I did find the room to be extremely small with low ceilings (we had a room with a small double bed, #1226 facing west - and did have a view of Mt Fuji), rooms on the other side were twins and seemed larger. The double for one person with no luggage might be just ok, but for two with some luggage and staying more than one night there's just no space to move around. Room size aside, service was good and responsive, and everything's clean and updated. The hot water kettle plays music when the water's boiled!

Main reason we booked here was because of easy access to the Keisei line with direct trains (1-2 times per hour depending on the hour) to Narita from the the same Toei Asakusa line subway station (Exit A2b has an elevator). I found this to be the best and cheaper than the limobus (which doesn't stop at this hotel). Direct trains are not as frequent however, at most 1-2 per hour depending on the hour. If you have lots of luggage direct is best but some transfers such as in Aoto are on the same platform.

This is probably one of my favourite places to stay. I travel quite a lot and not on a budget. This is not the fanciest place, but it is so so lovely! The rooms are not big, but hey we are in Japan after all :) Japanese attention to details just makes me smile. First you get a selection of facial stuff for each day at your check-in, then you have a PJ in room, as well as some variation of a steam room :) location is amazing! it is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Tokyo, next to a famous Asakusa Temple. Breakfast was also amazing! stuff is super friendly! loved the place! would definitely come back!!!

Ended up here because my usual hotel was fully booked. Saw online complaints about room size, there must be different room types because my room was spacious for Tokyo standards. Took breakfast of Coffee and Croissant on the first day which was an expensive mistake at ~¥3,500, didn't bother again. There is a bar but it's not very inviting. Take care if you are dropped off by taxi as hotel is in a pedestrian zone so taxi will drop you a couple of blocks away and leave you to work out where to go... similarly when you leave you can't call a cab, you have to walk to the main road two blocks away and hail a passing cab. Location however is good, many shops & restaurants close by as is the Subway & Tsukuba Express.
