Stayed at the Cerulean for 7 nights to experience Tokyo city life. The hotel is located near the famed Shibuya crossing (& its shopping stores) and the JR Yamanote line subway. "Near" means a comfy 10 min walk to the crossing and subway line (via an overhead crossing). Rooms are spacious and clean, The bathroom is probably the best I have ever seen (especially the toilet with lots of electronic features). We stayed on the 32nd floor and the view outside the window is of an open cityscape. Sleep quality was good but not outstanding as the pillows provided were not comfortable.

Eating in the hotel is quite costly so going out to eat in side street restaurants (or picking up packed meals from 7-11, Lawsons) would be a better option. Food quality in all areas outside & around the hotel is very good.

The information desk of the hotel is very good (look for Tanaka San), providing answers to everything from where to go & how to get there.

Internet is not free and is available for a fee for either Yen 1k for 24 hrs or Yen 3k for more than 3 nights use. I would suggest getting the Yen 3K package for long staying guests as surfing the web would be a better option than having to watch the hotel TV whose channels are mostly in Japanese.

Bus services to and from the airport to this hotel is available and is always on time.

Good Location, Good room, good service makes this hotel worth coming back to when visiting Shibuya. It falls short of getting an excellent Rating due to the pay as you use internet service (which should be given free like other hotels).

Room Tip: If available, reserve a room on a high floor facing Mt. Fuji. On a clear day, enjoy Fuji's snow covered peak from your Hotel room.

This was a good hotel, very comfortable, all the typical business hotel services, large rooms with views over Mount Fuji (on a clear day and on the right side of the hotel!).

Staff speak good English and are helpful.

Good location for Shibuya Junction and walkable from the station (use the bridge to get there).

Only downsides are that the restaurant (room service) wasn't great - to be honest it was the worst teriyaki chicken I've ever had and breakfast was very expensive (EUR30).

Would definitely recommend but would also suggest the nearby excellent restaurants as an alternative to eating in the hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing Mount Fuji on a high floor for good views

The hotel is about two blocks from the Shibuya station - uphill, so a bit of a drag with suitcases. it's nice that ut's so tall - if you go out the wrong exit, you can usually see the hotel, even from the wrong side of the tracks.

We arrived shortly after noon and were able to check into our room early and the boxes and suitcase we had shipped ahead to the hotel were all waiting for us.

The rooms are quite large. We had a triple with a view of Mt Fuji three of four days which was stunning. The shower was great. While the toilets in the public washrooms have heated seats, the ones in the standards rooms at least don't. The carpets to the rooms and elevators was a little dirty and worn, but the overall quality of the hotel is very good.

Service, as you would expect is excellent. Perhaps not that of the MO, but still excellent.

The airport bus leaves from the basement level, and the hotel took care of making reservations, getting us the tickets, and storing our bags and getting them on the bus.

After staying in Shinjuku and Chuo a few times I highly recommend the hotel and the Shibuya area.

Room Tip: They do have triple rooms if there are three of you...

Very nice rooms. We got a corner-room in 27th floor with a fantastic view. Twin beds, very good with three seperate pillows, a sofa and a good chair in front of the window. Waterheater for tea/coffee.
The room also have a writing-desk, flat TV with a few English channels like BBC, CNN etc.
Big bathroom with separate showercabin and all the things you need.
The room was very clean.
The frontdesk-staff is very helpfull to help with the trainsystem, a help you really need.
By arrival you will have to take your luggage by yourself to the reception when you come from the trainstation as it is one floor up. It is an esculator from street-level.

Internet is not free, and, in my opinion, quite expensive!
Breakfast is not included. If you want to have it the price is around 3000 Yen.
The staff is very helpfull and polite, but receptionstaff could be friendlier. Lack of personal touch!

The hotel is nice, but pricy!

Spend the $$ and try this place out, rooms are quality in both finish and space. Beds were great and very quiet all round. Great views from all sides and everyone knows about the location right? Well its central to all Shibuya has to offer. I'll go back there again for sure
