It is close to Keikyu Zoushiki Station, yet the way to the hotel is not that simple, as the hotel is located on the alley, a very narrow road. The map the hotel has prepared is a real help, and it is strongly advised that you take it with you. Also note that only local trains stop at Keikyu Zoushiki Station. The room is not spacious, but adequate. Clean and comfortable. Free WiFi is available, but unless you ask at the front, you will never know SSID and the password. A small fridge is in the room, but it is not working when you arrive. The fridge doesn't have a switch. To make it work, you have to plug in. The location of the plug is not so obvious. The breakfast is served in an interesting room, traditional Japanese room in a sense, and is good, although I wouldn't be surprised if someone complains about quantity: it is not buffet.

Stayed here with my partner after arriving at Haneda airport late in the evening. The place is easy to get to by train and we didn't have any problems finding the place. The owner couple is adorable, offered to pick us up from the train station etc., and the rooms are clean and comfortable, albeit a bit old. This is great value for money and a great start for a Japan trip.

The only real problems I have with this hotel are the signage and the elevator.

1. This hotel is located in an alleyway that branches off of the main "shopping arcade". It is not obvious that it is there unless you know enough Japanese to read the sign attached to a power or telephone pole pointing at where you need to turn right.

2. The elevator is ridiculously tiny. I barely fit in it with all my bags. Maximum rating 300kg. If you're coming in a group or as a couple, you will find that you will have to go separately or ask the front desk lady to send up your bags after you.

The room:
Very clean, bed is comfortable, nothing particularly memorable about it. Free WiFi makes it more convenient than most hotels in Japan that only have free LAN access.

However, what makes it good is its price. You rarely find hotels where you get a proper room and your own washroom for less than 5000 yen a night in Tokyo.

I recommend it for the bargain hunters, however, those traveling in groups of 3 or more should be prepared to spend a while going up and the down the elevator each day.
