I've stayed at this hotel quite a few times and they treat their Ambassador members well. I had a Junior suite this time around (smaller than the corner suite I've had before) but was sufficient for the short stay I had. Hotel staff the lounge can talk english well and are always very helpful. Club lounge has a decent selection of food during evening hours as well as for breakfast. The hotel has a direct limo bus from its doorstep to Narita and Haneda airports and it makes the travel a lot more easier..

Just finishing a three day trip to Tokyo, and my second stay at the ANA Intercontinental. The rooms are efficient, clean and well equipped. The bedding (my top criteria for happiness) is fantastic. The staff are helpful, the gym adequate, the location just steps from the Akasaka station. Very handy. You are also walking distance from literally 100s of restaurants. The hotel is not for someone traveling on a budget, and the restaurants in the hotel pricey. All in all, for business traveller, a good choice.

The ANA InterContinental is a jewel in Tokyo. One of the finest hotels my wife and I have ever stayed in. The service was fantastic from check-in to check-out, the rooms are exceptionally clean and the food was amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. You did not have to lift a finger. We stayed for 5 days on business and pleasure. We are still talking about our experience at the ANA to our friends. We can not wait to come back. If you are looking to be treated like VIP, look no further, stay at the ANA InterCon. It’s everything you’d expect and more. We loved it, wow!

Rooms: A good size without being overly generous. Decor is warm and inviting, understated, with an executive feel. Bathroom was well appointed with a good bath/shower. Large mirrors everywhere help add a sense of space. The views from upper floors are unbeatable, whichever way you are facing. My bed was very comfortable, firm, warm. Everything from the tea set to the mini-bar was tasteful and high quality.

Service is typical for an expensive hotel in Japan. Very professional and courteous.

The hugely expensive restaurants have been mentioned by other reviewers. Thankfully there is a wealth of dining choice in the neighbourhood, a short stroll in any direction from the hotel.

I can not discuss price of the wifi or breakfast as these were paid by my employer. However the wifi certainly worked well, and breakfast was fantastic. This is an excellent breakfast by any standards. A wide choice of European and Japanese foods available. I stuck to the Japanese which included crab dumplings, pickles, miso soup, fried tofu, mackerel and salmon, and an extensive salad bar. The salad bar includes smoked salmon and herring, sundried tomatoes, all manner of leaves and dressings.

Fresh kiwi fruit, dried mango and pineapple, prunes, lychees and many other fruits are on offer. Freshly squeezed orange juice, the usual range of other juices, teas and coffee are of course served. Table service is attentive, you will not run out of coffee.

A range of pastries, cereals, breads, the "full English" breakfast items are also on offer. Give yourself at least an hour to enjoy this feast!

The smoky sky bar presents splendid views and also a frightful drinks bill. We ended up enjoying much more reasonably priced beverages from the understated and friendly Geronimo cocktail bar a couple of blocks away.

So this is an expensive, full-service business hotel where you can expect to pay through the nose for excellent service, restaurants bars and views, in a useful location.

We stayed at the ANA InterContinental Tokyo for 2 nights and we really enjoyed this hotel. This was our 2nd stay at an InterContinental on this trip and this hotel fared well compared to the others. The room was a bit small and the bedding and decor were somewhat dark but the room was very clean and comfortable. I loved the extra pillow with buckwheat and down feathers.

Compared to the other InterContinentals we visited on this trip, the breakfast buffet was overpriced ($50 US per person with tax+service) and not really worth it. I was expecting Sushi and there was none but the Dim Sum and Smoked Squid were very good.

The hotel was about 150 Meters from 2 different subway stations which was a bit of a long walk with our suitcases. After paying about $25 US in Train and Subway tickets to get there from Narita Airport we realized the Airport Express Bus was about the same price (Perhaps $5 more) and much more convenient.

The outdoor pool was closed for winter. (You can see a reflection of the pool in the picture I posted (View from our room.jpg)

We would stay again.

Room Tip: We asked for King Bed, Non Smoking and High Floor and we received all of these.
