Fantastic location only 1 block back from the main block of Ginza. Hotel Is surrounded by bars, shops and restaurants. Rooms are adequate, breakfast is good. Staff most professional. Rooms are a little tired and the lack of wireless Internet and English television programs was disappointing.

Hotel i regular quality but in an excellent location comparing with the cost.
You can enter subway directly from hotel elevator!
Ginza street, the most fancy shopping in Tokyo is 2 min. away by walk.
Staff speaks decent English.
Breakfast is both Japanese and western so fitting to everyone's taste.
Recommendation: try restaurant called Tapas & Tapas which serves very good food and has fast acting and smiling personnel. Just get out of the hotel, turn right and then right again.
Prices are moderate and quality is great. Went there with my family and kids every day!

We scored this room for just over a hundred bucks a night and it was a great base to explore Tokyo after more traditional and tiny accommodation in other cities. We were initially looking for the Tokyo central station area but hotels are all expensive there - Ginza isn't a bad consolation prize.

It's known for its pricey department stores - and even though we had little interest in those, we still found it a great location. Staff were polite, as you'd expect at this level of hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Careful that the nearest subway station does not take you to Tokyo central or even the main Ginza station, but Ginza itchome. It's the only drawback to the location, which otherwise was great - very close to the JR Yurakcho station (which is just one from Tokyo Central).

Room Tip: We didn't upgrade the room, and it was still unusually spacious for a Japanese hotel.

Ginza is one of my most favorite areas in Tokyo and Mercure (mare-cu-ray in Japanese pronunciation) Ginza is perfect for me.

The staffs are very nice and helpful. Although there's one thing i didn't really like about this hotel is the guest room and bathroom interior. I could see that they did some touch-ups to it recently but red isn't my cup of tea.

I sure will consider staying here again in my next trip.

The Location is perfect for business guest heading to Tokyo Big Sight around 15 minutes by taxi or the International Forum in 10 minutes walking distance or leisure travelers looking for a perfect located place to stay. For the Time beside the business we are perfectly located near the Ginza Dori and Harumi Dori shopping streets as well as the Kabuki Theater. Ginza is famous but less crowed then other areas, Ginza Dori as the luxury branded shopping street nearby and the quite area we have, makes Ginza to the best area after a long exploring day in Tokyo. We are in such a colorful and impulsive Area, were you have so many different kinds of people, many cozy, really tasty, high qualitied restaurants and Cafe Shops around the Hotel. These places are the best opportunity to start or end your day in a quiet, peaceful surrounding with a relaxing flair. Right under the Hotel, within the Building, we have Ginza-Itchome Station, served by Yurakucho Metro Line, heading to Tokyo Disney Land or the Sunshine City in Ikebukero. Furthermore, it’s a really short but nice walk to Higashi-Ginza Station and the Ginza Station itself, sometimes you don’t want to go in the underground because of the awesome window decoration of Louis Vuitton or a funny attraction driving on the Ginza Dori. The walk to JR Yurakucho Station is also fascinating because of all the beautiful shops and building you passing till you reach the Station where the JR Yamanote Loop takes you to all the must see parts of Tokyo in the shortest time. From Shibuya Crossing, famous for the huge crowed crossing at the same time over Harajuku, where the colorful Lifestyle meets the peaceful and historical Yoyogi Park and Meiji Shrine to Shinjuku Area, with the skyscrapers district and the government building, from where you could see Mount Fuji on a clear day.
