The room itself was large and well furnished with a fantastic view but unfortunately the stench of smoke in the room was overpowering and almost unbearable. A request for a non smoking room was denied due to the hotel being fully booked. A humidifier was offered but when the smoke has permeated deep into the furnishings there is no relief. Yuck.
Stayed for 2 nights , a 5 min stroll to the subway , 5 min to the current fishmarket ( which is moving in October -18)
Great views over the bay of Tokyo !
Our room even had a private massage chair in the room which was great !
We stayed 2 nights in the hotel as a friend of mine lives close by.
The hotel is located somewhere between the 30-36 floor in one of the towers.
Really nice views and several useful shops are 1 Minute walk in the same tower.
Would recommend hotel and location.
we booked it through Agoda, was not clear which room we get. But the concierge made the best out of it and we ended up the first time in great room - so we decide to come back and they appreciated very much and service was more than excellent - a-la-carte-breakfast could be more - but is sufficient and healthy fresh food - even lunch buffet ok... clean - nice service and very well priced !
The Ginza Creston is a hotel in the Ginza area of Tokyo facing on to Tokyo Bay. The rooms are on the upper levels of St Luke’s Towers. Most rooms have spectacular views of the harbour and some even have views across to Mt Fuji. The rooms themselves are small but well equipped. The beds are large and comfortable, the bathroom had a large deep bath as well as shower. The two restaurants were expensive but had great food and service. Overall the hotel was professionally run and service orientated. Definitely stay there again.The only disappointing aspect was the TV viewing with only limited Japanese local channels available.
