I can understand why this cottage has had no reviews because we don't want everyone heading down and stopping us from going again !!
So I won't tell you that it is cosy,or that it is one of the best equipped cottages we have stayed at. We had it for Christmas from 23rd to 28th December and arrived to find a Christmas tree and decorations together with Chocolates and biscuits and everything prepared for a nice cup of Tea !
Eileen and Phillip Harrod the owners are friendly and helpful( and forgiving, if you mess up the sky TV control and finish up with a plain blue immoveable screen as I did!)
l could also say that all the equipment was in pristine condition, the cottage totally spick and span throughout, the beds comfortable enough to stay in all day long....but I won't.....just in case you decide that YOU want to go there too !
Seriously...it was an excellent stay... we did some lovely walks close by....and having many facilities available to you next door at Sandy Balls if you are so inclined, is an extra bonus. We dined at the George, on the bridge in Fordingbridge and the Three Lions at Stucton over the period of our stay, and both were excellent.
We loved Phil and Eileen's whole philosophy (excuse the pun ) on how to run a first class
Cottage and treat their guests with charm and good humour. Many Thanks
