This is a recently refurbished hotel with modern rooms and facilities, by the beach in Playa de San Juan. The room was spotlessly cleaned every day, and service throughout was of high quality. The hotel was reasonably occupied (late October) but still had the sense of being quiet and laid back - a relatively small hotel, but with a range of facilities including a high quality restaurant, cafe and small pool. The area itself was very quiet - local restaurants closed out of season. Plenty of free parking, around a 20 minute tram ride into the centre of Alicante. Breakfast was pricey at 15 euros, but to be fair had a better range and quality than is typical. Bed was comfortable, room was quiet, and a pleasant balcony overlooking the pool. Would highly recommend as a more laid-back alternative to the city centre hotels.

Me and my 16 year old son, visited 23rd - 27th october.
Check in was good, hotel clean, rooms were fine, bedding clean. Nice sea view to the left, but be aware construction to the right. They start early and finish late.house keeping daily and shampoo, shower gel and tooth brush supplied. Breakfast is ok the usual Mediterranean spread but the hotel charges €15 each, not worth that unless you can eat a lot. we ate here first night, was ok but again a little bit pricey. Wouldnt want half board as the same 4 things on the menu all week. Hotel also charges €3.00 for a extra coffee sachet for the room !!! Pool area is well kept but it was not busy so plenty of sun beds, which if the hotel is full i could see as being a problem. This is a quiet hotel, no entertainment so nice to relax. Staff were all polite and friendly. Tram runs past the hotel and the stop is about 200 meters away. You can jump on the tram to alicante about 30 mins which is about €1.45 or you can go into Benidorm £2.50 which is about 1 hour 15 mins. Not much in san Jaun, but good place to walk along beach. We got the tram into el campello €1.45 and went to the marina which has a choice of restaurants. Went to pipo's, a bit pricey but huge portions and nice food.

Booked a night when passing thru Alicante. Booked two adults and a dog. Upon arrival we were refused stay as they had no dog room. Receptionist, friendly enough, called her management and they could not care less about the situation. Rooms available but could make bo exception. Poor Spanish service which is proving once again how the poor service attitude connected with being in a tourist area just causes inconvenience for guests staying there.
My advice, stay away from this place...

Hotel very clean. Reception staff very welcoming, efficient & friendly. Room very comfortable but orange emergency light & flashing lights in smoke detector makes it hard to get to sleep. Keeps room too bright. Breakfast good but the same dishes every day and the hot food always cold. The same applies to evening meals. No variety and cold.
Position or the hotel ideal for beach lovers.
A good hotel but room for improvement with the presentation of hot food.

This hotel has no idea how to treat customers. Staying 6 nights at $250 USD per night and they refused to provide or sell coffee in the morning unless you purchase the breakfast for $18 USD. So for my wife and I to have coffees to take to the room when we woke, it would be $36 USD. I don’t want free coffee, but this is ridiculous. I spoke to the restaurant manager and the front desk and no one would act reasonably. This hotel is overrated and not worth visiting for the poor attitude it has towards well paying guests !
