Recommended by friends from Alicante this is a place that doesn’t look like it is frequented by many tourists.

Lovely atmosphere inside, this was a great find. We had the most amazing set menu of Tapas for only €25 per person which included all drinks - upon which there did not appear to be a limit - so it was fantastic value.

The food was superb and was served at a perfect pace....not inundating the table with all dishes at once which I often experienced.

Truly a perfect meal and this place I would recommend to anyone visiting Alicante.

Thank Pat S

We had some nice House-Salad, fresh bread with dip and after paella. I ate Paella with Fish and seafood which was the best I have ever eaten and also my friends had this opinion. It was just perfectly flavored, the rice exactly done and the fish very tasty.
Friends of me ate the Paella with Chicken which had also a nice taste but some bones in it, so it was uncomfortable to eat it. I would say for Fish Paella the best place..
Also the desert was delicious and the portion huge so that i can recommend you to share one.

We recommend this place if you want to have amazing traditional Spanish food out of the touristic circuit. Located at 25 minutes’ walking from the city center, it looks like the typical 80’s restaurant and the service was kind and professional. The food was absolutely delicious: we specially recommend the rice or paella. This place is very quiet in summer, the prices are reasonable (just a little bit more than the city media but less than the very famous places like the Nou Manolin or Piripi).

- A old time classic in Alicante, totally off the tourist circuit.
- It can be quite quiet during summer due to its location.
- Very good value for nice local food
- Especially recommended are the rice dishes (arroces). The house special is "Arroz con pata". Be careful because it's very rich.
- "Quisquillas", shrimps, are also quite good. Same for the fish "croquetas".
- They also have several set menus at reasonable prices as well.
- My only criticism was that the music was quite loud (bit of 80s). Unnecessary.
- Service was kind and proactive.
- Recommended if you want to try authentic local food off the beaten track.

Really loved this place. The staff were enthusiastic and the food was simple and delicious. They did just have 80's pop hits playing all the time and place itself felt a little dated but if that's the price you pay for authentic, honest food then so be it.
