Just back from a great holiday with friends. We meet up in different places each year. This year it was my turn to organise the destination and the accommodation. What a good choice it turned out to be.
Some of us flew into Malaga, others flew into Seville.Keith, the owner, had provided us both with excellent travel instructions which took us smoothly from Airports to door.
The Villa had everything that we needed for our 1 weeks stay and more besides. Most of our meals were eaten out, but I did Bar-B-Q on 3 evenings. The meat from the local Supermarket was really cheap and the kitchen was fully equipped for us to make accompanying dishes such as ratatouille, potato wedges and potato gratin. Although, we lacked oven gloves and a chopping board.
On the 2 occasions when we spent most of the day at the villa, the Pool was well used and the men even ventured into the Hot Tub.
Keith also privided us with lots of local information like the whereabouts of the supermarket, how to grt to the Town Square and much more besides. There were lots of bars, Tapas bars and several good restaraunts.
This is not tourist Spain, in that not many people speak English. A couple of our friends are multi-lingual and this smoothed our passage. The town itself was well worth exploring.
We spent a day at the beach, we expolored Cadiz and visited a Bodago in Jerez.
