This is one of those very rare places that you dream about but seldom find. I am very happy that we found it. It is a 20-minute drive along a windy narrow road up the hill from the coast, but you will not regret having done this. The scenery is spectacular, and the host Fabienne is most welcoming. Where else can one get out of bed and dive au naturel straight into the pool with a million-dollar view? There is no need to look for your swimming costumes unless you feel you will embarrass the birds and bees. The accommodation is simple but clean and nice, and frankly one does not need much. Make sure you have a few bottles of cava before you arrive, and you will be all set. Your only disappointment will be that sooner or later you will have to leave and go home. But then you will also realize how lucky you are to have been here.
Following a roundtrip through Andalucia with lots of cultural highlights (during Semana Santa!) we needed a place to relax for a couple of days, preferably in a beautiful setting. And this is exactly what we got: peace, a comfortable place, great views, and a wonderful host. Fabienne took very good care of us: the freshly harvested organic strawberries are unforgotten. We really hope to get back soon.
As to the difficulties of getting to Fabienne's place, that other people were talking about: we had no problems whatsoever. In general, experienced drivers will rather enjoy the ride up than being afraid of it. Besides: Fabienne offers to pick up guests, in case you worry.
