You can't beat a menu del dia for value. There was a long queue waiting for a table in the back room. The twenty minute wait was well worth it.
Don't be put off by the dated decor. The locals seem to love this place and with good reason as the ambience in the bar was very easy and pleasant.
The food was excellent, tasty and plentiful. Service was homely and helpful.
