1 review It was perfect. Clean with great service. It was warm with plenty of hot water. Kitchen was well equipped since we cooked ourselves during our 10 day stay. Best part was Laura, friend of owners, who came in and cooked for all 10 of us great pasta meals. Visited nearby vinyards 5 minutes away. Walking distance. Hour away by train which was 5 minute drive from villa and plenty of parking , from Florence which was perfect. Hour from ocean,Lucca,Siena, 10 other great spots. We are coming back next year. Best part was costs. Around $33 a night a person for10 of us versus $300 a night in Rome. See ya next year . Jack Mcwalter boca raton,florida

This is a very large house in a suburb of Pisa near the Florence border. About 30 minutes from central Pisa and 45 minutes from central Florence. Very secluded and quiet area yet with easy and convenient access to the FI-PI-LI highway. This is the real Tuscany, and in the middle of the wine country, with many wineries just a short and very scenic drive away. About 30 minutes from the very scenic town of San Gimigniano.
The house specifies 5 bedrooms but it seems like even more than that. There's even a ground level with 3+ unfinished rooms for the potential of even more rooms. Every room has ample space, and the rooms are very tastefully furnished with local artisan furniture. There is a large kitchen for those who like to do some cooking, with nearly everything provided already, just get the food.
This house combines the best of both worlds. The comfort of a home with the luxury of quality furnishings and modern conveniences. The location is in a quiet suburb yet with easy access to all that Tuscany has to offer. There is a great local restaurant about 2km away with some great Tuscan dishes and a owner with huge personality. The name is Il Sottobosco and you can find it on Tripadvisor. Other than that there isn't too many restaurants near by especially ones open past 9pm so if you are touring in nearby cities perhaps it's better to just get dinner in the city you're touring in.

1 review As part of our two family tour of Italy, we chose to stay at this house due to its neutral location in Tuscany and its proximity to all major destinations. Pisa, Florence, Chinco Terre and Siena are all close enough for a day trip. The house itself is amazing with breathtaking views of Tuscany countryside, modern amenities, spacious bedrooms and everything you need to stay there for an extended period.
