We have just had a lovely relaxing holiday at the old stable the stable was just perfect fell in love with it when we walked through the door and we were made very welcome it is such a peaceful setting with stunning views Gregory kept in touch and made us feel very much at home we would recommend it to anyone wanting a lovely peaceful stay in a lovely part of Donegal
Excellent accommodation in beautiful location, peaceful and very private. The cottage was clean, comfortable and cosy. The peat fire was a special bonus. The surrounding garden was spacious and very tidy with outstanding views over Lough Foyle.
A warm welcome from Michael & Monica (Gregory's parents) and communication with Gregory himself was very easy.
Would highly recommend.
Somewhat difficult to find especially when the ferry is not working but once you are here you have all that you need. Good accommodation and facilities and the lovely pub only staggering distance away. Easy for travel to all of the area whether walking or driving.
on arrival we were met with Michael who took us through the house and explained the switches heating system and layout.the house is equiped with all you will require for a self catering holiday the house was pristine with a comfortable bed and a relaxing sofa,it sits in a quiet location with a pleasant garden and nice views over loch foyle.
The Old Stables is a well appointed, comfortable cottage with a lovely view over Lough Foyle. It's peaceful location is ideal for a relaxed holiday and is within easy reach of the Giant's Causeway and the wild Atlantic way. The Inishowen peninsula is beautiful and we'll worth exploring. I would definitely recommend The Old Stables if you want a quiet holiday in beautiful surroundings.
