What a find this place was! , can't rate it highly enough, friendly staff, beautiful bush setting near the creek, large shady drive through sites, excellent ensuite type amenities & pet friendly. We stayed for 3 nights - would have liked to stay for more. Great food from the cafe - at night they have dinner available followed by a campfire singalong. Bar onsite too with a good selection. Undara Lava Tube tour was amazing, as was the short train trip on the iconic Savannahlander to Einasleigh. We will definitely come back for a longer stay and explore more of this region.

This is the second time we've stayed at Bedrock and we didn't hesitate to stay again this time. We arrived at the end of the day and the reception we got from Jo was all smiles and welcoming. It was pizza night and we joined a jovial crowd in the camp kitchen. The facilities are very clean and there's a swimming pool to cool off in as well as a shop and a charming cafe We didn't do a tour this time but the Lava Tubes are very interesting and recommended. If you are able to also do the Savannahlander Train Tour that would be a bonus.

We stayed at Bedrock for three nights, driving from Cairns, and included a Lava tube tour and the short train trip to Einsleigh. The owners have done a terrific job building up the caravan park from scratch and now includes a pool, and nice cabins with good clean amenities. All the connections to tours and train were handled very well. There is a short walk from the back of the park down to Elizabeth creek for stunning real Aussie bush scenery. We did not use the caravan or camper facilities so cannot comment there but otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Room Tip: If the free mystery tour is on offer it’s a bit of fun going around the town and hearing all the history and Gossip

Stayed here as part of our 2 day Savannahlander train trip from Forsayth to Cairns including the wonderful Undara Lava Tubes. Excellent facilities and hosts. Well equipped cabins with good sized bathroom and siting area. Great smorgasbord dinner. Just wish they would not drown desserts with custard. Had the custard scourge 3 nights out of 5 between Normanton and Cairns.
Country & Western songs around the campfire under the stars after dinner an added bonus. Good cooked breakfast. This place makes every effort to look after their guests.

I stayed here two nights for work and have no complaints about the room. I stayed in a Fossilbrook cabin, which has everything need to cook up a meal if you needed to. There was WiFi but only near reception. I used my phone to hotspot my computer instead but Telstra were doing some work on the phone lines and the reception was really bad on the first night but improved on the second night.
I had the dinner that was on offer which was a mixed grill with several different types of salad. The mixed grill was really nice as were the freshly made salads. The units are well off the road and quiet.
