This friendly place is all things to all travellers - groups, caravanners, campers. Lunch, dinner and breakfast all good. My general complaint about all the stops on this route Cairns to Karumba is the food - it would be great to feel you were eating "local", rather than teabags, imported lamb and little packets of jam and arnotts biscuits. Only one place had a local chutney served with their cold meats. Where is the Mareeba coffee, famous beef, mangoes and bananas. No excuse not to try at least.
Campfire and singsong good fun; very enterprising owners to have developed this place.
