Chiesa di San Martino is considered the oldest church in Tarquinia, with it being referred to in 1051 documents, however there is little information regarding it. The 15th century frescoes have deteriorated somewhat, however it is still worth dropping by, to have a look at this small 1,000 year old church. The information board on the street in front of the building only gives the name and date, inside there is an A4 sheet of paper with details about the church. Located in Piazza San Martino, it is in good company with some lovely mediaeval structures.
